I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For....

Carrots? No way!

That's more like it!

Greatest thing about North Hills is the ice cream. We've got a Ben and Jerry's on one side of the grass and a Chick Fila on the other.
And nothing goes with ice cream like nuts!

We had so much fun playing with Hartley and eating ice cream, I couldn't even believe it!
So, On Sunday, Mina talked Mommy into buying ice cream sandwiches, which we have never ever had before. They are GOOD to me!

Of course, you don't get something for nothing around this house, so we let Mommy dress us up so she could figure out what we should wear for picture day. Picture day is Tuesday, and Tuesday is supposed to be the only cold day all week. The photographer at our preschool takes sister pictures, so we have to look nice!

The dress is losing, and it's probably because Mina looks silly. I hear that she's a 2T on top, and a 24 monther on the bottom. So, dresses don't work. Here's hoping her bottom catches up with her top!
Peace out!

Time to Make the Donuts

Mommy and Daddy forgot one thing from the blog this week. A video of my trip to the donut store after staying dry all night in my big girl undies!!

Getting to Be Spring Time..

Hello there!

We had another good week - except for Sunday night, but that's Mina's story to tell...

This week, it wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold! We colored up the driveway. Mina's a daredevil. As you can see, I know how to hold on tight!

We hung out with the dogs

And made some Saturday morning pancakes as good as can be!

Uncle Donald came for a visit on Saturday and we took him down to North Hills for the new farmer's market! And on top of all the strawberries and tomatoes and cookies and brownies was a band! Bluegrass on the lawn!

We saw some friends we love to see, and danced a jig with Grace and Katie Z!

Hartley didn't make it to the farmer's market, so we made some time to visit after our nap

And that's when I decided that I was big enough to roll with the big girls. I said to my Daddy and Mommy- no more diapers people- I'm ready to wear my undies to bed at night!
I tried this once before a few months back, and I wasn't so successful. Daytime is one thing, 12 hours at night is something else. But this time I really felt ready, and do you know what? I did it!
And my daddy knows how to celebrate a dry morning! hee hee.

Ok, so now the Mina debacle. Well, you may have heard that we were supposed to have some zoo pictures this week. Mommy, Mina and I went down to Aunt Jen's house (she lives near the zoo) and had dinner with her and Uncle Jon, and we played with Abbie cat and had OH so much fun, and on Monday we were SUPPOSED to get up and go to the zoo with Aunt Jen and Mommy and see the gorillas and the elephants and lions, and everything.
But, Mina threw up on Aunt Jen's rug at 2 in the morning and mommy cleaned it up, then Mina tried to play around for the next two and half hours with mommy, and finally, at 4:30, mommy said lets go home while it's still dark and sleep for a couple of hours at home. SO that's what we did.
No zoo this week, maybe next week.
Sissy's fine, by the way, happy as can be.
OK, enough news about us. I've got some more exciting news. My good friend Mallory is now a big sister like me and her little sissy made the news just like my little sissy. But, her sissy came in a pretty spectacular way. Check out this story!

Happy Birthday Uncle David!

We've been busy!

On Saturday, we went shopping in people's yards for some new books and toys.
I found a basketball hoop and lots of books! The basketball hoop saw a little more action than the books, at least at first.

Mina's got a little ways to go I think.

On Sunday, I got word that Uncle David is about to get another year older. Uncle David has been around along time!
Yay Uncle David! Yay Ice cream cake!

I dig my sissy

Now that Mina is getting a little older, I asked Daddy and Mommy to take her down to the pool at the Y, like they used to take me oh so long ago.
Mina liked it at first, but then she got mad. I don't see what in the world there is to be mad about in a pool full of kids and floaties, but what're you gonna do...

Sissy still gets mad every now and then (as you can see), but not like she used to a month or two ago. She hangs out with me and Michaela now, and we all have a really good time!

She's really getting fun!
She's starting to see the world a little more the way I do, and I think that's just great.
Now instead of one bowl of popcorn, there's two,
Instead of one set of hands, we've got two,
Instead of one night night story, there's two,
And instead of one five minute warning to end up bath time,
you guessed it-- there's two!
Hee hee!

She's cute!
