Summer time!

Pool's open!
This summer we're going to beat the heat at our neighborhood pool! We get there by going through nice neighbor's back yard. We get to go in the woods a little bit too to get there, which is fun and adventurous.

Summer time means time to tie up business at school. One more year closer to the big school Mina!

Here we are at the end of the year picnic at preschool.

And some pictures of Mina and my class at preschool. We have Jessa's too-- which we'll scan in next week.

We also celebrated Dad's 34th birthday this weekend! On Sunday we got together with some friends to celebrate summer and sing a little birthday song to my dad! This is the kids table, as you can probably see.
This week, we also spent some time getting ready for our trip to Disney, which we are going to take in October, when the weather gets a little cooler. Mom and Dad got tickets through Disney's Give a Day promotion, and it turns out we almost have enough money in our piggy banks to buy our own tickets! We worked hard counting our money this weekend- we're up to almost ninety bucks! Just a few more bucks and we're there!!

The Great Strides Walk!

We've been busy as ever around here. Busy opening birthday presents!
Jessa got a very special delivery from Florida this week
Yay for birthday goodies!

Here's Jessa's favorite new outfit. That is one cute baby we got.

Grandma and Pop Pop also sent up some outfits especially for Marina and me. We love presents. Thanks Grandma and Pop Pop!

This weekend, we walked to raise awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis research. Dylan's mom Mrs. Nicole says that our team alone made in the neighborhood of $18,000! Our Great Strides walk included 30 teams, who all tolled raised around $115,000!

They had all kinds of fun things to do there before and after the walk. Some folks played there during the walk, but not us. Mom and Dad made us go around the whole town on that walk. Lucky for us, we were in our strollers.

Here's us before the walk, having all the fun we could before the big event!

Wool E Bull loves Super Dylan!!

And Ronald McDonald has a cool car. Mina wouldn't get in it though. She thought Ronald was scary.
Not me!

Balloons!

Busy, happy, productive weekend. Can't wait until it's Friday again!

Jessa Turns 1!

This was a BIG weekend for our Baby Jessa. It started off with a trip to New Jersey to meet some of her cousins for the very first time. Jessa knew she needed to get her beauty sleep before all of the excitement, so she snuggled up for a nice nap on the way up.

Whew....we made it. Jessa made sure to stay in touch with all of her peeps back home while we were away.

Our Aunt Carol and Maria and everyone else were such great hosts to us. They gave us juice boxes and flip flops of all things!

And there was no shortage of playtime with Christopher around to show us the ropes. Mina was awfully excited about the bubbles. She acted like she'd never seen them before!

Jessa tried to hang with us most of the weekend, but got slowed down by a couple of ear infections. That's OK though, more snuggle time with Mommy for her.

And when that didn't work, it was Nicole to the rescue!

Christopher showed us all of his fire trucks while we were there. When the sirens went off, you'd think Jessa was at a dance party! She loved to dance to their sweet music.

After a short stop at the Minute Clinic to work on those ears, Mommy hooked us up with some munchkins! That's cleared up those ears pretty quickly!

We finally made it home late Sunday night. After a good nights sleep...only one thing was left... JESSA's FIRST BIRTHDAY!! We've settled into a routine of birthday's at TGIFridays since that's the only place that will sing to us when we're out.

Mommy likes to tease Jessa with lemons. Mean Mommy! Gullible baby!

Jessa didn't mind though cause she got to wash down that lemon with an ice cream sundae! They even gave us big girls our own dish to share with her!

Jessa had quite the adventure this weekend! Her first trip to Jersey, her first ear infection, her first prescription drug, and her first birthday! She seemed to come out the other end happy as always. Love that baby!

Almost 1!

One is still about a week away, but since we're going on a trip next weekend (to New Jersey!), we decided we better celebrate a week early with our Grandma Q, Uncle David, Aunt Ann and Michaela. Mommy is quite the cake decorator, huh?

Good enough for our baby!

And good enough for us, too!

Sweet baby J. Can you believe it's already been a year?
She can't walk yet, but she sure can eat up some cake!

Yummy Cake!

Presents!

We were all pretty tired after the big party. Well, most of us were pretty tired. Mina said she had one more party in her, so Mom brought her over to Marshall's birthday party at the Little Gym!

This is Mina with her favorite person in the whole wid wide world.
Mina hearts Brady. Mina pretends Brady plays at our house every single day. For days at a time, Mina actually pretends that she is Brady, and that my mom is his mom. I tell her all the time that she is not Brady, she is Mina. I won't call her Brady's name and then she gets mad. But it's nuts and that's not the way I play games.
