HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

We're getting ready for Halloween! Mrs. Katie said that Halloween doesn't just happen, it takes prep -a- ration!
So, I said, "Mrs. Katie, what do you mean?" And Mrs. Katie said, "You need a pumpkin Maddie!" PUMPKINS (also known to me as Halloween coconuts) grow in the country at farms!

OOOoooh, Halloween coconuts!

We spent lots of time riding hayrides and hanging out at the farm with Ava and Mrs. Katie.

We fed the goats and ran around in tepees!!

Once we got our pumpkins picked out and put on the porch, we got down to business at home. On Tuesday, we had preschool, so we dressed up like the good happy Hokies that we are!
Go Hokies!
(Go Waffles!)

I'm a Hokie building machine!

Mina had one more outfit to try before tomorrow, which came from the same place our Hokie gear came from! Yay Uncle Donald and Aunt Kim!

She's cute, but she can't rooooooaaarrrr like her sissy!
See you tomorrow. Mommy said she may make Mina take it easy on the candy. I wonder why???

Slow week...

This week, me and my sissy took it easy -- we're just trying to get back into the swing of things. Yay pink waffles and milk!

On Saturday, we went bouncing around at Jumping Beans! Mina was a a wee bit too little to jump with me, so I stuck around with her in the kids room too!

Mina won't be in the little room with the babies long! We went to the doctor this week for her one year check up and found out our girl is 32 inches long!
I figure I might not have too much time left to be the big sister, so I got some special special orange ice cream to bulk up a little!

But then, no one shares like Maddie does!

Grandpa

Grandpa Q passed away on Thursday. He wasn't ill, but he was tired. We'll all miss him so much. He was a wonderful man, and this world isn't the same without him.

Football and birthday cake!

Mina and I go together like football and Hokie bird!

We spend all kinds of good times together.
This weekend, we had good times to share with our good friend Kyla! Kyla is a little Hokie too, and we little Hokies love football games, especially if our mommies and daddies spend the whole time entertaining us! Go Hokies!!

We got to show Kyla our handy dandy new playset. I think she likes it a lot!

She also liked spending some good quality time with my little sister. Ooooh, Beachy!

On Sunday afternoon, Kyla had go home to see her kitty cat, so we said goodbye...
And Mina and I were so sad BUT THEN, today I remembered it was Mina's big BIRTHDAY! Yay birthday cake! My baby sister is ONE!

Happy birthday Baby!

Soccer

I used to be scared of boys, then I met Owen and Cooper and Nick and Charlie, and they gave me this super duper playset, and now I'm not scared of boys anymore!
Yay!

Daddy, I'll get you for that one!
We finally got an eensy weensy bit of rain on Saturday, so playing outside got very messy very fast! We had to come in and take a bath and then play inside games.
Look, I'm Mad the builder!

You might be wondering right around now, if I ever wear pants. The truth is, I do, sometimes. But when I gotta go potty, I gotta go potty, and I like to be efficient!
Hey Mina, what's shaken'?

I like to wear my shorts at soccer, because I noticed all the other boys and girls do- even Mina and Grace...
Hey Mina, this soccer thing is about me!

Look at those girls and their sipee cups!

Big girls love soccer (and I also like building things, in case you didn't know that about me...)

I'm a soccer star!

Want to see me do my drills? Ribbit! Ribbit!
