Growing up!

Last week was very exciting for two reasons:
Mina had her rain delayed third b-day party AND Jessa Rose started solid food!
Hopefully you've seen Jessa's skills on the video. She is such a happy eater!

For Mina's party, we dressed up in our costumes!
That's two cowgirls and a cute little cow.

Even though we had to reschedule Mina's party for a Monday afternoon, most of our friends could still make it. We decorated pumpkins!

While mom supervised pumpkins, cake, pinatas and pizza- Mrs. Nicole supervised our littlest cow. Mrs. Nicole is an incredible neighbor and friend who helps us in more ways than we could count. We LOVE her oh so much!!

Yay for three!

My pumpkin was extra spectacular!

What's a cowgirl without a horse?

On the weekend we got together with some of our buddies to carve our pumpkins!

Donut eating contest!

I got the seeds out for Mrs Jamie, who said that she'd roast them up for me to eat. We're going over there later this week to eat 'em up. I'll let you know how that goes!

And we even had some time to fit in a playdate on Friday with Reagan, Denton and little Adam.

Next stop-- CANDY!

Jessa's starting look a lot like Daddy!

And she likes the camera!

Jessa Rose likes rice cereal!

Jessa's got her very first bites of solid food on Tuesday night during dinner. She is a natural! By her third bite she was grabbing the spoon and putting the cereal in her mouth, and swallowing!

That was fast!

Good news people!!
My little sister Mina is a three!

Happy Birthday Mina!
And more good news--- we sold our house on the hill in just 6 days! Just four showings and one open house and it was gone! I knew someone would like it. Lucky for Mom and Dad Mina was wishin' on her birthday candles!
Our last two showings were on Wednesday night-- and since we had to get out at dinner time, we let Mina pick the restaurant for an early birthday dinner.
Yay for Chick Fila!

We love birthdays!

When we got home, we had some yummy third birthday cake, which was chocolate with chocolate frosting, which is exactly what Mina asked for.
Happy Birthday Mina!!
Jessa is a little small for chocolate, but she likes to take in all the sights and sounds from her jumpy chair.

Presents! This one is from Uncle Donald and Aunt Kim. Mina wears it all the time!

And a game from Mommy and Daddy!

And a cute little doggie named Mae.
On Thursday Mina turned three so we celebrated all over again- except this time, we had to do our celebrating without Daddy, since he had to go out of town for work. It turned out ok though, cause Mommy made Mina's favorite dinner and Aunt Rose and Wesley sent presents!
Yummmm. Hot dogs, mac and cheese, beans, bananas and peaches!

My last Soccer was on Saturday. Now I am ready for ballet, where I won't be so cold and sleepy.

We worked up our appetite at soccer... our appetite for birthday cake!
Saturday, we celebrated with Grandma Q, Michaela, Uncle David and Aunt Ann!

More presents?!?

A scooter! Thanks Aunt Ann, Uncle Dave and Michaela!

And it is not even over, if you can believe that. Mina was supposed to have her neighborhood party at the park on Wednesday, but Wednesday was cold and rainy, so we postponed until Monday afternoon. We can't wait! We've got a Curious George pinata!

MLS

Here you have it. We were up and running last Wednesday night, and we had some good showings over the weekend. Still for sale!

We camped out with Aunt Holly and Uncle Mark in Fayetteville this weekend, and we had a blast- but we didn't bring the camera. We'll have it on Wednesday for Mina's third birthday party!

Hokie football!

Yay for the Hokiebirds! On Saturday, they beat Duke, and our friends Ian and Kyla came with us to watch it!

Our friend Matt took some very good pictures, and then he shared them with us so that you could see how much fun it is to be a Hokie!

Showing the Blue Devils what we think of Duke football.

Jessa Rose was the amazing little baby that she always is. So sweet and quiet.

And Mina was the cookie monster she always is!
Fancy facepaint!

After lots of cheering, lots of playing and lots of snacking, we were worn OUT!

We're also still working on our house! It's almost ready for someone to buy it, but our helper who was supposed to put up the shutters this morning had to go the doctor and then our realtor (Mr. Brad) is very sick and didn't go to work today. So, no MLS listing today. Maybe tomorrow!
Once them shutters get hung we are home free (I HOPE. Well, I don't really care, actually since I don't have three kids under 5 to clean up after, but Mommy hopes. Really, really hopes!)
