We're back!

We were very busy with the Easter Bunny and forgot all about pictures and the blog and everything else but candy.  We're sorry about that! We did the egg hunt and got very fun Easter baskets filled with hair accessories and goodies! We at some goodies, and brushed our teeth clean. But then, a couple of days after Easter we went and got our teeth cleaned at our 6 month appointment, just to be safe.  Jess is A-OK with the dentist.  And we all checked out fine.  Whoo Hooo!

 

Last weekend, we had a quick but very special visit with Katie and Grace, who were in town for The Fresh Beat Band.

When the week began again, we went over to meet the newest Grubor, S'more the sweet hamster.

We went to park like we always do and got braver and bolder.

We also took a trip to the fire station in Brentwood with our friends!

And then it was THIS weekend before we knew it, and we played soccer and watched Happy Feet 2 and picked strawberries and made a very fancy dessert with all our fabulous berries!

Spring Break!

We made it to the beach and back, and we have lots and lots of pictures! This was the view from Mrs. Jamie's beach condo, which we shared for the week with all the Sloops, except for the Mr., who stayed in Raleigh with our own Mr. and worked and worked and watched baseball.  We were very happy to have such a long and wonderful playdate with our old friends from Raleigh! Thank you Sloops!

We were happy to make it to the beach, alright!  The weather was great on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Here are our happy beach pictures:

We went to the pool outside and inside. These are pictures from the outdoor pool.  We took BIG tubes down a big, fast water slide!

It was busy at Amos Mosquito's on Wednesday night, but we were very patient.

 

Thursday brought some colder weather, so we swam at the indoor pool before lunch, and hit the aquarium in the afternoon.

To North Carolina!

This week we geared up for Spring Break with a Mother's Tea at preschool with Marina.  The 4-5 year olds had fun guessing their mom's information.  Apparently, Mom, who is 45 to Marina, likes to play with Mrs. Abby.

Mom also got to see some singing and dancing!

And she got this very, very special hat!

 After we wrapped up the school week, we hit the road! Off to spend Spring Break with our friends and family in the NC! We had a late start, on account of Mom and Dad both having to do a little work before we left. This is Jessa at about 12:30 AM.  We got into Grandma's about 1 AM.

 On Saturday morning, we went to see our favorite next door neighbors! We miss Hannah so much!

 I got to fit in a playdate with Molly!

 And Marina got some special one on one time with Hannah.

 Jessa is still deciding whether it's worth it to see her special NC friends!

 Mommy got to see her friends on Saturday night, after we went to sleep.  I think she had a good time although she stayed up too late and was tired the next day!

 Good thing, we had lots to keep us busy the next day-- Easter fun with the cousins! We got together with Michaela and Sophia, Grace and Bella at Grandma's house in Chapel Hill.

 After everyone left, then we had fun with the crafts that Aunt Ann gave us.  Thanks Aunt Ann!

Unfortunately, it was a very busy weekend with a lot a lot of things squeezed in, and no one slept quite enough.  Marina was the first to crack.  This week, we're at the beach with some of our friends from Raleigh, and you'll be happy to know Marina has bounced back and made a full recovery here.  We're having fun in the sun!
