4th of Jul-a

Anyhow, that's what I call it.
And to celebrate it, I asked my cousin Michaela to come watch the fireworks with me at the ballpark, and she did!
Wool E Bull was there, and he made sure we were well fed (and dressed, as you can see from our shirt/souvenirs).

My buddy 'Kayla and me are the best friends we can be!

My buddy and me!
In case you were wonderin' about my little sisters, they stayed home with Mom. Mina gets sacred of the BOOM BOOM BOOM!

And then, the next morning I was off to North Hills for a parade! Only, I was late, so we missed it. Luckily, I got some balloons for my trouble!

Hartley met us there, and we got some face paint and some fancy hair coloring to help us celebrate our country's b-day!

Thanks for the 4th of July socks Aunt Kim and Uncle Donald!
Now, you might find yourself wonderin', yet again, where my little sisters are off to. Turns out Mina got into a little bit of trouble the night before and had to miss the fun at North Hills. You've got to be sweet Mina!
Luckily, we all got it together in time to go see Grandma!

Happy trails!

Splish splash

We've been splashing around!

These are pictures from our local sprayground, where we spend lots and lots of time spraying ourselves (and each other) until we get good and soaked!

Jessa Rose only goes to the sprayground with us in the morning, when there's lots of shade. She doesn't care about getting soaked, although she did like her first swim in the pool this morning in her carrier.
Jessa Rose likes anywhere when we're with her!

We also took Baby Jessa to the Marbles, which she liked okay because she got to eat in peace when Mommy found a nice, private nursing room with a lock, and a glider and a boppy.
We ate before we came, so we enjoyed some fishing, ballet dancing and hockey (we like to mix it up)!

On Monday afternoon, Mommy's work had a birthday party for itself and invited all of us to come and eat cake, even though Mommy hasn't been there in weeks and weeks. Happy B-Day Disability Rights NC!
You make good cake!
Daddy took us paddleboating around Lake Johnston after we got done with our birthday cake. I think he was hoping to burn the sugar off, but we made him do all the work. Hee hee...

different, but the same...

A little something to brighten your Wednesday! We are often asked if Jessa Rose reminds us of her sisters. You be the judge...

I'm thinking definitely a little Maddie! Mina not so much, but we'll have to see how things progress!

Happy Father's Day!!

We are Daddy's girls!

We love our daddy for so many reasons I can't even count.
We love Daddy because he's the kind of daddy who will take his girls to North Hills to run in the grass even though it's about 100 degrees. And when we get too hot, he's the kind of Daddy who heads to Chick Fila to buy everyone ice cream.

He's the kind of daddy who takes us out to catch fireflies in our jammies,

And the kind of daddy who takes us all to a baseball game, even though he knows we'll bug him for ice cream when we get there and we'll whine when we're leaving.
And in the middle, he'll be willing to miss part of the game in order to stand in line to see Dora the Explorer.
He also does about a million other things that make him the best daddy in the world. At least a million. And also, I am glad he married my Mommy, because she's the kind of Mommy who buys a slushie maker to celebrate Father's Day. Good thinking Mommy!
My Uncle David is also a very good Daddy. I asked Michaela and she said her Daddy does a million great things too.
Happy Father's Day!
And also, here's some pictures of our growing baby. Jessa is six weeks old now, and still just as pretty and cute as ever! We went to the Doctor today to check out Marina's eczema (swimming pool induced), and while we were there Mommy snuck the baby onto a scale to see what she was up to--- 11 1/2 pounds now, growing like a weed!
Smiling, which she begins doing promptly at 10:00 am every morning, and stops doing by 10:15. Seriously, you could set your watch:
