1st Annual Flapjack Jam!

Bonus week! Two blogs!

This week we have two blogs. Can you believe it? Two days apart and it's like we're living separate lives.
Here in Raleigh, we attended the first annual Flapjack Jam to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! We are so very blessed and fortunate to live in a community that supports each other the way this one does. Would you look at this turnout? And as a community, we raised almost $5,000 on Saturday alone to support CF research and to help us find a cure for our buddy Dylan. Amazing.
If you are so inclined, there is still time for you to make your donation to our Great Strides Walk. You'll see the button on the right of the blog. Let's find a cure people!!
Super Dylan!

Hugging Monster!

And Mina wasn't the only one socializing! Check out Sanderson High class of 2027!

We really celebrated. We danced to the music and shouted and sang! We jumped and we ate and we swang until we collapsed into the double stroller for the trip home.

Roadtrip with Dad (and without my sisters!!)

What a crazy treat I got! Dad and I went on a roadtrip, just him and me, to Cincinnati to see Aunt Kim and Uncle Donald this weekend. We had such a great time. Mom and Dad have been to visit here and there, but I had not seen my Aunt and Uncle since Christmas. That is just too long. And I was a very well behaved, except when I wasn't.

As you can see, Aunt Kim is doing phenomenally, amazingly well. She's been incredible, and an awesome example of perseverance, hard work and determination to me and my sisters and anyone else who meets her.
I am so happy she's mine! And Uncle Donald is not so shabby himself. No, he is not. And he's mine too.
We went to a baseball game over the weekend and to a super fancy restaurant. I've never been anyplace fancier then the Red Robin, so this was quite a challenge. Lucky for me and Dad, I didn't have my little sister to squeal with, so I was very well behaved!

I also got in some bowling on the Wii!

Beach Music Thursdays!

Once the weather turns warmer, the folks at North Hills celebrate with Beach Music!
Thursday was the first Beach Music Thursday of the season-- and since we love to dance and sing, we skipped and strolled our way over to the celebration! We danced and we ate and we played with our friends.
We were thoroughly worn out after all that, as you might imagine, but luckily Dad was able to meet us there after work to take us home in his car.

On Saturday morning, Mom brought Baby Jessa's over to JC Penney's for some pictures!
Jessa isn't baptised yet, but she's a pretty big baby and almost one, so Mom got the pictures made while the gown still fits. We're planning on August 7th at Our Lady of Lourdes, at the Saturday Mass. Or at least that's the word on the street.
JC Penney's gives you digitals to share. We think they turned out pretty good!

Sweet, sweet baby J.
We also got word that Uncle David got another year older, so we went by to visit him, and found out that they have a new puppy!
Watch out J! O'Malley is a nipper!

All that hanging out with Michaela's dogs really makes a girl miss her Yogi Bear. Aunt Rose and Wesley have been babysitting our Yogi while we moved all around town and in and out of the town home. Now that we're settled, we've set a date.
Just a few more weeks until Yogi comes home!

summer time's coming!

At the end of last summer, I'd figured out a pretty good doggie paddle. Since it is almost summertime again, I figured I'd better get back in the pool and refresh my skills!

Mina just clowns around while I take my class, either in the open swim with Mom and Jessa or around the pool.

I hope I'll be a swimmer again soon!
We're also enjoying our new digs-- and our new location. On Friday night we broke out the double jogger and trucked it over to North Hills. It was SO much fun to walk to dinner!

Sunday, we dressed in our best Michaela hand-me-downs and went to our new church. We've decided to go with a church that an itty bitty bit more child focused, since I'll soon be working on my First Communion.
We enjoyed it! Mina talked to Mommy about the Children's Liturgy of the Word and I practiced my Peace Be With You's.
.
Jessa hung out with Dad at home and watched golf. Blah.

Here comes Peter Cottontail!

Hippity Hoppity Happy Easter Day!

This year, we got serious and went Downtown for the big Raleigh hunt. Unfortunately, so did everyone else in Wake County. And they were even more serious than Mina and I, and so they got all the eggs and all I got was MAD.

But then, I had my sister and I had my lemonade, so I realized it wasn't so bad.

I also got to see Mal! Do you remember Mal? Her mom used to babysit me when I was itty bitty, and then they moved to another town. It was great to see Mal and Mrs. Heather again!

What a difference 3 years makes!
Soon Kylie and Jessa will be as big as us. But then I'll be even bigger, so they'll still be small to me. Which is how I like it.

After lunch with Mal we ran around and jumped some more.

And then we got ready for a visit from the big bunny, who delivered treats and crafts!

And she hid our eggs all around. Crazy bunny!

Yay for Easter!

I took some pictures of my family enjoying the day.

We also took some time to enjoy the gifts we got this week from Aunt Rose and Grandma and Pop Pop in Florida!

And then it was off to see Grandma Q and Michaela!

Happy Easter!
