We got these colorful cupcakes from Mrs. Mandy, who is Maggie and Ben's mom. She brought us chicken and cupcakes!

Like I said, we are celebrating a couple of big events in our house.
Da da da DUMMM....
First one is...
Baby Jessa's first real smiles! You've got to look fast, one minute it's there, then it's gone. In the beginning, there was definitely some not so real (but still very cute) smiles. These new ones only come in the morning and only when she's playing, so we feel pretty sure it's the real deal. Sweet, sweet baby...
And that is not all! Oh no, we've got even bigger news!
Da Da Da dummmm....
If you know much about our Mina, you know she has not been the biggest fan of the pot. As in the potty. Not at all.
Well, Mina decided she had to put some distance between her and the little baby this week. And how did she do that? By pooping in the potty. Honest to goodness, we couldn't believe it!
Mommy told Marina last week she could graduate to a big girl bed when she managed that feat, thinking it was weeks or even months off--- but oh no, Mina just needed a goal!
All her sisters are very, very proud of her! She's not going out into the world in her undies yet, but around the house, she is doing great!
So, speaking of out in the world, we're still doing a lot of that!
this weekend was James' third b-day. And my friend James knows how to party.
This weekend, big girl beds, smiles and poop. Next weekend -could be ANYTHING! Stay tuned--
