Happy birthday to Katie and Hart!

Our annual kick of to spring has been the same since I was born, practically. First, we lose an hour of sleep- which is miserable for me because these days I nap two hours every afternoon and sleep 12 hours every night. I sleep just about 30 minutes less than our baby, if you can believe that. But, I figure I'm growing, and I love to grow, so I love to sleep!
Second, we celebrate Hartley and Katie's shared birthday! This year, our friends both turned 5!
Here we are at Hartley's doing a craft!

Hartley's was a drop off party, so Mom and Dad didn't get too many pictures of us after that one, but we had FUN! We ate and played and hunted for Easter eggs!
While we stayed at Hartley's, Jessa went for a bite to eat (of lemon!) with Mom and Dad. Yummy lemon!

We celebrated Katie's birthday a couple of days later. Katie had a library party and she was a librarian. She had a bun in her hair, so we knew she was the boss. All the rest of us dressed up like characters from our favorite books! Katie's dad was the man in the yellow hat. He read us a George book and gave us ice cream!
And later on, we got some cake!
As you might expect, we did a fair amount of reading at the library party. Here we are getting ready for a story. In case you're wondering, I was the Ariel and Mina was the Ladybug Girl, without the wings, the black dots or all the red. We're flexible on details as a general rule.
We also did some egg hunting, just like at Hartley's party!

Jessa mingled a little. She's really growing up, that baby. You wouldn't believe it!

She swings,
And she plays with our friends,

And, the best part-- she's even figured out how to boogie a little bit!
