Guess what my friend Hartley says? She says that if you're careful, and you eat you eat your veggies and be quiet when you get time out, then sometimes you can get an extra birthday party for your birthday! No one told me that, but I guess I got a couple of parties anyway, since Grandma and Pop pop like to celebrate with me at their house in Florida before I go home at Christmas.
It's fun to be two!



I had so much fun at Hartley's birthday party. So did Marina. I think she had just as much fun as us big kids!


I also had fun this week going to the park with my good friends Jack and Katie. Jack and Katie always go to the park with Marina and me. Jack told me that he's moving away soon. He pointed out the direction he was going here, but Katie and I don't think we can get there from here. We're sort of little still....

It's going to be very sad when he leaves. He's in my class with Mrs. Nicky and Mrs. Kelly at Trinity too, and I know it won't be the same without him! I'll try to be strong and get through it with some help from Katie and the playground equipment.


Luckily for me, Mallory comes with her mommy Heather to see me a few mornings during the week when Mommy has to work.


And of course, I have my cousin Michaela, who loves me very much. My Uncle David turns a number I can't even count to yet on Monday, so he came over with Aunt Ann and Michaela to eat some supper and cake for his birthday!

Oh no, SUGAR CRASH!

As you can see, Mina is getting very good at sitting it her high chair. She eats some veggies now with her rice and sometimes, she even eats some oatmeal!


While she's learning to eat, I'm working on drinking from my big girl cup!

And I'm also learning how to be very brave and go down very fast slides, like this one we found at Meredith's Spring Fling on Saturday! Woo Hoo!

Happy Easter!

This Easter I spent exactly like I spent last Easter-- with my cousin Michaela digging around for eggs and CANDY! Apparently my Aunt Ann has an arrangement with this big bunny to drop off lots and lots of candy around her yard. I don't know about the big old bunny in the picture I took with Marina-

But I do know about looking for candy with Michaela!

After we got our treats, we hung out in the grass and looked over our loot....

Here I am opening up an Easter Surprise from Aunt Rose and Cousin Wesley! Yay! A coloring book and a book to read my sissy!

I also got presents from both my grandmas and grandpas. Thanks! Marina says "keep 'em coming!" We love presents!

Mina can crawl!

I'm very proud of her, because she worked so hard to get moving. Here's little Mina getting in some practice. I like to supervise, since I've been there!

Whew! Crawling can be hard work, and supervising isn't that easy either. Mina and I decided after all that work, it was time to relax in a warm bath!

On Tuesday, Hartley came over for an evening of dinner and playing! Hartley really likes my little sister. I think Mina likes her right back!

Then fun in the tub and into our jammies! Then, Hartley went home with her mommy, and I went night night in my big girl bed, so I could rest up for another day of....

Easter egg hunting! Hey little boy, I think that's mine!

ooohhhh, and that one too! Yipee! The Easter Bunny is coming. To get ready, I took Mina to go find some eggs with me at Trinity Baptist Church, which is where I go to preschool...

OH MY Goodness, there were real LIVE bunnies there! Hi Bunny!

And I got to frost my own cookie and eat it! Numm Numm!

Yay Easter!
Wow, it has been a very good week. I even got to see my cousin Michaela. Michaela likes that sister of mine a lot too. We liked making her laugh at us!

And we liked going for rides on Grandma's scooter. Beep Beep!

What a fun week. We even got a special visit from Katie's doggie when Katie went on a trip. I LOVE Murphy!

And I love Mina! Raspberries on your belly!
