Vacation at the Beach!

This week, we went all the way to the ocean to celebrate Mommy's birthday!

Mommy starts her new job on Tuesday, and she asked Marina and me to help her get a nice picture for her new office!
As a happy birthday present to my mommy, I tried very, very, VERY hard to be good while Daddy took pictures.

All done! Hey- Is that a fox hole???

Hey Kyla! How's it going??

All work and no play makes Maddie and Mina dull babies!

When we weren't in the water, we were exploring the aquarium...

Just LeBron and me...

Crabby babies!

EEeek! Jellyfish monster!

As a special Treat, Kyla and her folks came down to see us for a couple of days. Kyla came just in time to hit the seafood buffet! Num numm!

And, what is a tip to Emerald Isle without a little put put?
It was FUN to hit the ball in the hole. I liked to put it right next to the hole and knock it in! Go me!

And here I am getting some Ice Cream (orange of course) with my puppy. This was a special treat I got for staying dry all day!

This week was fast!! Mommy didn't have to go to work as much, since Wednesday was a HOLIDAY! Happy 4th of July!
To celebrate, me and Daddy went to a celebration downtown! It turns out Mina got sick, sick, sick a couple of days after the baptism, so she stayed home with Mommy...

On Wednesday, Mina still looked like she just had a little cold, so after I got back from playing downtown, I rounded the whole family up (including Aunt Rose and Wesley, who were still with us!) and ran down to my pal Hartley's place!
Yay Hartley, Happy 4th!

Feeling better, Baby?

On Thursday, Mallory came over to play! We read all about the Bible while I trimmed my toenails!

In the afternoons this week, Mina and I tag teamed with our favorite dynamic duo to tackle a FUN kid's museum!

I talked Hartley into coming along on Friday, because, really, what sort of fun are you having when you don't have Hartley???

On Saturday, Marina's little cold traveled from her nose to her chest. Mommy got a little stressed out about Mina's wheezing and went to the doctor. The doctor said Mina might have intermittent asthma- a baby sort of asthma that some kids get when they are exposed to respiratory (big word, I know... I practiced!) illnesses. She may grow out of it, and I hope hope HOPE that she does.

So, we're packing up Marina's Albuterol and lots and lots of TLC and going on vacation this week. When we get back, Mommy is going to take Marina to her regular doctor to talk to her about what the other doctor told us on Saturday. Mommy isn't 100% sure about the diagnosis, since he is not really Mommy's favorite doctor in the world, and because he made the diagnosis from a stool across the room, and didn't listen to Mina's chest. Hmmpph.
See ya later alligator!

Fun in the (Holy) Water...

This week was a lot about Mina and a lot about water! I know a lot of big sisters would be jealous about having to devote so much time on their blogs as I have to about Mina, but Mina is a pretty good sissy, so I don't mind!
This week Mina got baptised! Yay Mina!
But before we got there, we decided to mosey on over the Jack's house for one last (or maybe second to last) hoorah/ birthday pool party at his place before he moves away and breaks my heart...
Love you Jack!!!!

Katie and me weren't the only girls enjoying this shin dig, look at our happy little sisters!

After a great afternoon with Jack, Mina and I got home, got dry, and got dinner. Who needs Mommy and Daddy? Open wide!

Then, the big day arrived- along with our whole family! Look at all my cousins!

Welcome to the Catholic Church little baby!
Here she is getting ready....

And she didn't get scared when all the children in the congregation came up to say hello...

And, Mina did a GREAT job in the water with some help from Father Bill! No tears!

Yay Mina!

After all that, Daddy and Mommy thought it would be a good idea to put us down for a nap. YEAH RIGHT!
We said, we've got Grandmas and Grandpas to schmooze!

Party!

Nice Job Harris Teeter!

It was a big week here. I thought, as one last note, you should know I drew my first potato head! He's over there on the left. I'm very proud of it, so I saved it for you to see!
