Daddy day care

Oh, it was a crazy week at the Masons!
Mommy had to go to DC for days and days and days and she left Daddy in charge!
Mommy left on Wednesday for her trip and she was very sad - but, lucky for me, I didn't really understand how many days were between Wednesday and Sunday.
SO.
We stayed in the afternoons with our very good friend Dylan and his Mommy, Mrs. Nicole, who lets us play bingo and make crafts (birdhouses!) and makes us kool aid! Mrs. Nicole is so much fun and so nice and she made this whole week much easier for all of us.
And then Daddy would pick us up after he got home from work and we would play daddy games, which we normally play at night anyhow.
Not so bad, right?
Nope, not so bad!
We even gave Yogi a bath on Thursday night!

Friday was Daddy donut day at preschool, so we got even more special Daddy time!

And then, on Friday, Daddy left work early- early and he picked us up at Mrs. Nicole's house and he took us to KYLA'S HOUSE!!

And I love me some Kyla Grace-- Like nobody's business!

We had so much fun on this visit. We played and played and ate and laughed. Goodness, we had a good time.

On Sunday, I talked to Kyla about my situation, and we decided to load up in Kyla's van and drive to DC and go get my mommy!
We got into DC a tiny bit early, so we stopped in on the Thomas Jefferson Memorial first to run off some steam.

Here is the very big human that I found inside! Eeeek!

And then, we finally got to go and get Mommy and we were all together again. And I was happy, because everyone was back where they belonged.
And I celebrated our happy return to our routine with Mia on Monday in a tree.
The end.
Until next week.
