Happy Mother's Day!!

We started off a great Mother's day weekend with a spot of tea at the pre-school. Ms. Kat took this great picture of Mommy and her two little girls. Funny thing...this would be the last day with just us three girls because....

Baby Jessa Rosemarie made her grand entrance this weekend and gave Mommy a special Mother's Day present!! Mommy went into labor on Saturday while at the movies with a friend. We were with Daddy at the time so Mommy went straight to the hospital while Daddy made sure we got to Uncle David and Aunt Anne's house safe and sound. Sleepover with Michaela!

Mommy was in labor all night but rested comfortably thanks to that big, scary needle in her back! Baby Jessa arrived at 4:37am on Mother's Day morning, just as Mommy had been saying she would. Happy and healthy.

She was a BIG girl, but not quite as big as Mina. She weighed 8 lbs and 8 oz, and was 22 inches long. Looks like I'm going to always be the little one!

Since Jessa was so big and healthy, Mommy and Daddy got to spend some good quality time with her right after the big event.

Later that morning and after our exciting sleepover with Michaela, Uncle David brought us to the hospital to meet Jessa for the very first time! For some silly reason, she had a hat on. I said, "Hey Baby! It's summer time outside. What do you need that for?"


Jessa is already trying to butter us up. She brought a treat with her from Mommy's belly. Sprinkle donuts!! I think I'm going to like this kid!

Mina wanted to make sure that Mommy didn't forget that she's still Mommy's baby.

We left after an hour to head back to Michaela's house. Mommy and the baby need LOTS of rest before they come home to our crazy house. So, Daddy put them to bed and then came and got us tonight. Back to school tomorrow, and hopefully Baby Jessa will be home when we get done for the day. Mina and I can't wait to show her what being a Little Hokie is all about!
