Back to normal

After weeks of excitement and drama, we are pleased to report that everything is back to normal. This week we have been all about the follow up: We got to the doctor for Jessa, the doctor for Mina, and the dentist for me and Mina. The full report: No cavities, healthy healing tibia, and a positive for anaphylaxis in reaction to poinsettia plant, which was the allergy doc's official diagnosis of the Jessa whole turning blue, barely breathing, terrifying everyone episode. While this might sound obvious, the official word on the episode was in doubt because her anaphylactic reaction was atypical, mostly because she tried to go to sleep/pass out instead of struggle. Doc says that makes it all the worse, and all the more scary. Also, you and I both know it is unlikely I have any idea what atypical means, so I'll tell you it is a fancy word for different.
Anyway, aside from all the doctor's visits, it has been a bang up week! No anaphylaxis, no broken tibias, and no travel.
Yippee!
While it's great for us to have a little breather, it means fewer pictures for you. Don't fret, we're likely to have more next week when we get the mulch down under our playset. For now we give you:
Lunch at Chuck E Cheese.

And also, in case you didn't see them, our Christmas presents for the Grands. We posted some shots the photographer released to us early- but these were the pictures we actually purchased and plan to treasure for years and years.
